The Honourable Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arch. Olamilekan Adegbite, fia, has launched the COMEG Digital Stamps on Tuesday, 1st March, 2022 to replace the old metal seal.
The Digital Stamp was borne out of Council’s bid to curtail the unwholesome activities of illicit practitioners in the industry and improve the pecuniary gains accruable to our registered members; and is in line with the professional best practices of other similar Council’s in Nigeria.
Henceforth, all relevant professional transactions / receipts not duly authenticated with the COMEG Digital Stamp are therefore, considered null and void and the initiator an illegal practitioner.
