MANDATORY PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION (MPE)
Council's 2025 Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE) is hereby
announced as follows:-
Sit-in Exam
Mode: - Computer Base Test (CBT)
Date - Fri., 3rd & Sat., 4th Oct., 2025
Venue: - Five locations (Abuja, Akure, Jos, Lagos and Port-Harcourt)
Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG) will
continue to accept completed application form(s) up till Mon., 22nd Sept., 2025. Late submission starts thereafter with a penalty of N20,000.00 and ends on Mon., 28th Sep., 2025.
• Online Exam Date: - Sat., 18th Oct., 2025
• Executive Oral Interview (EOI) Still on-going till end of Nov., 2025

NB: Only candidates who graduated from COMEG accredited BSc/B.Tech/B.Eng programmes
from Nigerian Universities or Federal Ministry of Education accredited Institutions outside
Nigeria will be shortlisted to sit for the examination. For candidates who applied for COMEG TECHNOLOGIST position, you MUST have graduated from COMEG accredited Institutions.
